Although this show was on a smaller scale compared to other design fairs, there were many memorable exhibitors. SHIMA-SHIMA participated in Stockholm Furniture Fair, and was represented by IoU Design,a Swedish charity project which produces beautiful wooden garden furniture. Collaboration with Borseggi, Milano
This month, SHIMA-SHIMA and Borseggi Milano began launched the collaboration of several interesting projects, Borseggi, which means "pickpockets" in Italian, is part of the Opera in Fiore Cooperative. Borseggi organises a sewing workshop in Opera prison, located just outside Milano. They create bags and home accessories from prestigious fabrics that are often donated by fabric manufacturers.
